@scottieman2 Yeah, but that’s as realistic as carrying around a big ass boulder chained to your leg as you run from hungry Wolves… ’cause the movie’s called “Running Rock, Hungry Wolves”.
@cb52211 I just had a thought, they could have gone between POV and regular film. I mean, when they are not filming or when an action scene is they switch to being a regular film and when filming be a POV.
@scottieman2 But it would have made more sense. The purpose of a POV camera is to keep the audience in suspense. Like in Blair Witch. We never see the witch, we just see what the characters showed us. If they left the camera somewhere, we could hear everything that’s going on, but be constantly confused since we’d never understand what’s exactly going on. Sure it would be visually boring, but I think it would have been more interesting.
I agree with the camera. Why would they hold it? I think it would have been more effective if they had placed the camera on a table or floor or something and left it there. That way we don’t see anything and are kept in the dark. Because when you carry the camera all over the place and let us see everything, it basically kills the point of having a POV camera in the first place.
@raulrolon7 Are they fuck it gave me motion sickness and it combine with bad acting and a boring story, realistic or not it sucks ball as well as the genre
@scottieman2 That’s true. The only thing is that: they never seem to do “A” right and when you finally find “B”, it gets more even disappointing when compared.
I have my reserves. I’d probably like more than one movie which, unbeknownst to my knowledge, is a remake. And then again, finding the original will cause a clash .
Any zombie movies after 28 Days Later can be called a “rip-off” (as I could say The Matrix is a rip-off of other 200 places, including Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys). Cloverfield was released one whole year after REC (the directors were in terms since 2002, but was done and finished on 2007).
I like the review, Quarantine sucked. But I won’t go as far as lowering REC because “It’s a rip-off”, like there’s something “original” these days.

@cb52211 Then wouldn’t be much of a movie if they drop the camera.
@evilaj2010 Why you say that?
Worst inaccurate review ever.
I did a review on that movie, its great :)
watch REC!!!! it´s the original film!!!!! ARE SOME THINGS CALLED SUBTITLES!!!!!
this is so funny

@JocaBrate94 Right, POV’s are actually more realistic than normal movies. It makes you feel like your the guy with the camera.
i remember getting nauseous watching Cloverfield. Main reason I didn’t go & see Quarantine.
POV movies need to die. >_<
i dont know why but i really liked quarantine

@IceVallejo
I don’t mind if they A) Do it right, or B) be if it is a movie that I haven’t seen it and it isn’t a movie I like.
@scottieman2 Agreed.
@IceVallejo
Nowadays everything is a remake.
