Nigerian authorities had the preacher returned to Kenya declining to issue him with a transit visa to Gambia. Muslims activists are now seeking to challenge the governments decision to hold the Jamaican in a Kenyan prison and as Yassin Juma reports, the clerics presence on Kenyan soil is proving a big headache for the government.

I hope Kenya can learn from this. How did the government issue a tourist visa to this guy in the first place? Is the NSIS really updated on people on terrorist watch (or no fly) list? do they have to wait until these people are in the country?
Freeg, do u know that Kenya Airways is the only airline that is used by the British to deport all African illegal immigrant in hand cuffs from the UK. All other airlines have refused including British airways.
So why isn’t our national carrier not so for Kenya. surely it can take the man to Gambia to catch a connecting flight to Jamaica?

They should hire a chartered plane for him to Jamaica to show the seriousness of the issue. President kibaki should give up his jet for this kind of project in deporting the said terrorist out of our soil just like what Americans did to General Farah Aideed to Ethiopia for peace treaty. While in Jamaica he should sign something that he will never return anywhere in Africa.
