Cluster Headache Attack - Chuck
This is an excerpt from a documentary covering the phenomenon known as “cluster headaches”, the pain of which is said to be worse than natural childbirth or amputation without anesthetics. In short, the worst pain known to man. The guy’s name in this video is “Chuck”. He reportedly suffers from a heart condition with makes him unable to take most abortive drugs, so the only way he can attempt to stop the attacks is by breathing pure oxygen. By the looks of this video, it doesn’t help much. This documentary was made by a group advocating the use of such drugs as LSD and psylocibin (found in shrooms), which have reportedly had great effect in aborting “cluster cycles”

I get them pretty much daily now. I figure if I ever decide to have children at least childbirth won’t seem like any big deal.
just imagine a young baby Screeming his head off , and all people around saying ” shut up you littel so and so” , while it is not his falut,only because that baby has Cluster Headaches and he does not know how to ask for help . as you blocked what? could be the only hope for him maybe for the? next? 200 years comming.

Do not you get it guys,They are not intersted if you suffer or not . It does not matter the cause of it ! what matter that they can sell Oxygen ,Drugs,Herbs,Injections,and operations.I sent them more than e mail to tell them that I found the cause of cluster headaches , and I am free of all headaches now? .they were not intersted .

@daguuy Magic mushrooms don’t *cure* cluster headaches. There’s another headache comin’ anyways. But it does *abort* them. Total excellence.
Except, of course, that cruising on ’shrooms isn’t exactly a good every day method of dealing with the world long-term. As fun as they are, ’shrooms can be kind of…disruptive.
@jaraha I have no words to describe how it feels…but if you start with a migraine…call the migraine firecracker. Call the cluster phosphorus, call it napalm.
I’m not exaggerating in the slightest. Migraines are very, very painful. Clusters are a whole. different. story.
This may help: my neurologist told me there is one good thing about surviving cluster headaches–he told me that if I get cancer or a body burn, not to worry, it probably won’t hurt as much.
What do they feel like? I stumbled upon these videos and don’t get it. Does it feel like a migraine, or what? You don’t need to tell me how it works, just how it feels. Thanks.
Hi, I have cluster headaches. Started 5 years ago as episodic and are now chronic.
I use sumatriptan nasal sprays, while waiting for that to work I breathe oxygen in bursts of a few minutes.
The face-masks are too leaky, I pull the mask off and breathe straight from the bag.
It’s the only legal* method I’ve found that works, preventative medicines (verapamil etc) had no noticeable effect.
If you haven’t tried oxygen I recommend you do.

Hey Chuck I used to get daily headaches just like yours for 7 yrs.I took.prescribed meds.(42 different kinds) and none of them worked.When some one told me about the Headache Institute of Tx.working with patients without meds.,I felt sketical about trying them but said to myself I have nothing to lose.After 6 wks. of treatment I have gone headache free for 41/2 wks.Their motto is Mechanics before meds. There is a cure: magic mushrooms. The government won’t admit it though cause admitting mistakes like prohibition is a sign of weakness.

You can buy some over the internet but you’ll probably have shipping issues since it’s transporting it in a state where it’s illegal.
I was actually diagnosed as suffering from Cluster headaches at a pain clinic in a local hospital about 10 years ago, then for years afterwords I would say to people that I suffered from Migraine as I thought most ppl have heard of migraine+I do get them now+then. I was given O2 the last time I had 8 weeks of continual Custer headaches, the worst ever in my life. They truly did my head in, + I would try anything for relief, cold water on the side of the head was quite good.
I looked up Salvia on line here. It is illegal in our state. UGGHHHHH. They need to do some research and find a way to legalize it for medicial use for cluster headache!
What is “salvia”???
As funny as it sounds, get him to take salvia, as it does literally cure it for some time, if not forever.
I get them too. They hurt sooo bad. I would do absolutely anything to stop them. The worst is when they wake me up at night. Nothing helps, and I just have to ride them out. It sucks!

My husband suffers from these also. The oxygen at 12-15 litres /min for up to 20 minutes does help most times, but not always. He has had them last for 18 hours before. He has started using my sumatriptan, and it has definitely helped. His clusters start almost the exact same day in August and stop at the same time in March of each year. This year they are the worst they have ever been. They are occurring 10 -15 times per day. He has just started taking sumatriptan and it has helped.
I also experience Cluster attacks, watching this video brings tears to my eyes because it reminds me of me to the exact. I also have an Oxygen regiment, but it doesn’t work unless I catch the attack in the beginning. But what I’ve discovered was IMITREX statdose injections. Once injected the attack is cut short. But I am extremely tired. As long as the headache is gone, I’d rather be tired. This is the EXTREME of headaches.
LSD is absolutely harmless to your body. It can be harmful to your mental health though, but that varies from person to person, as with any other psychedelic substance. However, if you’re suffering from cluster headaches, said to be the most extreme pain the world, I’m pretty sure you would try ANYTHING to cure yourself.
Though I do not have this condition and cannot imagine what it would be like to go through it, I recommend to all sufferers to explain to explain to their doctor what they go through and go for a checkup.
