Why are people saying that this song should have been put on the album in place of another one? Why not just put this one on the album TOO, and it be a 12-track cd? Whatever happened to CD’s being an hour long.. nowadays, you’re lucky if you get 45 minutes, and you have to buy it from 3 different sources to get 3 bonus tracks. Then a special edition will release in 5 months with a DVD, then the Australian version will be released with 3 tracks I didn’t even know existed. JUST RECORD ONE ALBUM!

I really don’t this song has anything to do with Jared Leto.
For one thing, I don’t hear him in this song. And second, he’s not even credited with doing anything for this album.
I haven’t interpreted this song, but there are in my head there are two possiblities…
It could be about the Greek goddess Leto.
It could also be about Leto Atreides II, from the Dune universe.
I have yet to really try to interpret the song, however. But I’ll try.
they should have added this to the CD and the gist and removed interlewd!!!

My theory is seeing as the band is well acquainted with Jared Leto, this song may be based on a movie role of his. like perhaps requiem for a dream. It has alot of lyrics portraying schizophrenia and anxiousness, “One sobering thought was forced upon” that reminds me alot of requiem for a dream.
