This is interesting, I would like to know if there are any control group clinical trials have been made to back up these claims.
YOU LIE!!!
her annoying talking is giving me a migraine.
This worked quite well for me and my migraines, but it didn’t touch the pain right above my eyebrow for some reason. :/
yes it works on my
If you have a disease for months it will probably take weekly treatments for a while to cure it or make it an irrelevant problem. If it is a problem for years, it might take weeklies for several months to cure or nearly defeat it. Some problems take one treatment but many take a few to maybe 8 to cure it.
Too bad the UCLA and Stanford Medical Schools teach acupuncture isn’t it? Too bad the National Institute of Health and the World Health organization accept it as a treatment for many, many common diseases. These well respected, mainstream organizations standing on the issue kind of makes these people who call it quackery kind of look silly, doesn’t it? These organizations and all the people who have been helped probably don’t believe in quack cures either. Take your hate elsewhere.
Maybe he isn’t, maybe he is, but you know what? The UCLA and Stanford Schools of Medicine both teach acupuncture for Medical Doctors for their Continuing education programs. Look it up. I don’t care about what you or any other internet claim to be qualified at, I will take what Two of the best Medical Schools, The National Institute of health, and the World Health Organization say over you anyday. Your little crusade is laughable at best.
Acupuncture works.
I don’t get it why so many Western doctors and M.D.’s are afraid of it’s
effectiveness.
Comparing acupuncture to sugar pills
is so absurd.
Western and eastern medicine do not
work against eachother. They are often used
together with miraculous results.
BTW, there are PLENTY of Oriental Medicine practitionrs who are just as full of shit
as your average arrogant western GP.
PS “Qi” is a VERY measurable and scientific
energy.
Sory, but first of all I have to call you on your lie: You, sir, are certainly not a medical scientist. In medical science, facts stay facts and the results of proper research do stay valid. It’s true that medical science does not understand every detail yet, but we’re getting there. One phenomenon that is well understood is the placebo effect. If you defend acupuncture, you might as well defend prayer or sugar pills.
Do you really think we fully understand the biochemical reactions in our body already? the answer is more resaerch will come out claming there’s more or there’s this behind this…
well it worked on me.
i am a medical scientist. All what we understand is not everything it is just a small tip of icebug. every accepted understanding is within the rage of researches done and proven but once again this is not everything. there are far more than what we understand. we just try to make sense ouf of something that is proven by available modern technologies. Do not think the resaerch results that claim to be the fact will still be the FACT 10-20 years later.
well it worked on me.

I’m currently a senior in college, and have been suffering from migraines for about 6 years. Medicine from the docs. were not working. I decided to go to an acupuncturist and have been going weekly for two years. My migraines are now far less intense, and much more spread apart. I went from having a migraine once a day, to about once a week. And considering how debilitating these can be, I’m so happy with the results, and also have been overall more healthy since I began treatment.
Yes, she is the person who does acupuncture and gets money from that, however, just ask around. YOu will find someone who has benefitted from acupuncture whether it is for migranes or other ailments. Your body is the proof, it knows what it needs and doesn’t need.
Is it so important to evaluate based on western techniques? As an author to the ebook found in naturalheadacheremedies dotcom, what is far more important is that it actually brings relief to many migraine sufferers - that is proof itself and not some statistical study.
Theres alot of reseach, such as randomised controlled trials that demonstrates acupuncture to work beyond a placebo effect. However fake or sham acupuncture has problems as it can produce specific analgesic effect by inadvertently stimulating the body’s natural pain relief mechanism. More and more research is coming out, however how do you evaluate acupuncuture using western techniques? Thats athe question to be asked, rather than does it work or not.
The greatest inventions ever created were once called impossible. Acupuncture is no different, accept that people still refuse to accept it even though it’s been used for over 2000 years.
Of course she would say something like this since she makes money off it. I never have believed in quack cures.
its true.. acupuncture can relieve migraines… i actually had acupuncutre stop the pain of 1 migraine while i was at uni, but then i went home and it came back :(
